That was 50% rhetorical though. I mean, nobody even minds Half-bang clearly abusing the situation. Perhaps it is because she isn't wearing pink glasses this time...
It reminds me of back when we were younger the teachers would incentivize us to do more work, so if we answer questions right we get candy. It's a good strategy with younger kids since it makes you want to study harder and do better to get the rewards. I like how the half bang here doesn't really care all that much, since she like spicy things, and still get so much chocolate because she's the smartest one here.
