I hate what Nicalis did to Cave Story's perfectly-fine translation. They should have just asked Aeon-Genesis for their work.

eeeehn. There's a lot to be said for a pro translation. You got no idea what we leave out a lot of the time because it's too much of a bother.

(Especially in this non-cartridge age where they're not restrained by space, and don't usually have a budget constraint where an amateur translation would be better than them trying to remember their highschool engrish.)
