If you look under the last panel, it looks like there is more to the story. It might be that Flan ends up making Meiling 'disappear' in the end.

I am conflicted as;
A. Meiling does disappear we see a cute crying Flan,but that would render my soul but I would still watch knowing that

B. Meiling stays we get happy end

Gusutafu isn't trying to give subtle hints, that's just something Gusutafu adds to their strips. Many of their long strips usually end like that, like a slip in the cropping process before saving.

The translated "young mistress" kanji in ojousama in the last panel is different from the normal お嬢様. What's the difference?

The kanji used, 譲, means "defer" or "transfer", but has the same jou reading as and looks similar enough to the proper 嬢 kanji that I wouldn't have even noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. Seems Gusutafu didn't notice it, either...

Probably a typo, considering that the on-yomi for 譲 is also じょう and they look pretty similar. Plus 譲 mainly appears in 譲る, "to surrender/hand over", and I can't think of any cogent pun that could be forming.

The pictures of Flan and Meiling are the reason why I love Meiling from the start
