Well given the position, I'm guessing the nervous system that can be seen is meant to be Yuudachi's nervous system. If I was to guess the meaning behind the picture, then maybe it represents the human side to shipgirls, and that although they the reincarnated from warships they are just like the rest of us (though shown in a surrealist way).
This is just my interpretation, of course. I'm just as clueless as everyone else. Maybe the artist just a this idea in his head and wanted to draw it.
