    Another commission completed by ninai (user/44645912 ») and posted with their permission, featuring Prinz Eugen and Prince of Wales from Azur Lane.

    The big-breasted wives are sharing a private moment together out in the snow. Though their kimonos would normally keep them warm, the amount of skin they have exposed to the chilly night air has forced them to think of another way to keep warm, and they've decided on the best option of all: tribbing their compatible, married reproductive systems together until they impregnate each other. The pair of yuricons are glad everyday that they've found each other.

    You know they originate from a game, right? They both have multiple voice lines mentioning the other, many of which imply the two to be quite close for being former enemies.

    well....some people ship Hood and Bismark, Tirpitz and Victorious, both of them don't even have any lines to each other (execept Victorious bombing threat)

    there's also zero lines between Jean Bart and Massachusetts, but one artist draw these two quite a lot

    All of those pairs have at least one voiceline pairing them. Hood has one for Bismarck, Victorious has three for Tirpitz, Jean has one for Mass and Mass has two for Jean, and all of them are positive in tone. Jean and Mass also interacted in the event they debuted in, and all three pairs are also connected by history, which also applies to Wales and Eugen.

    Short answer is people tend to like ship adversaries when it comes to ship collection games. After Hood and Eugen, you don't see much art of Prince of Wales and say Repulse. Augusta isn't seen or mentioned in the Azur Lane so Eugen doesn't really have competition as far as vessels that crossed paths with PoW.

    It's the good old 'opposites attract' trope at work.

    Prinz Eugen is 'lucky' in that she was one of the few German ships to survive WW2, whereas Prince of Wales was sunk before her construction was complete, suffered mechanical failures during Operation Rheinübung, and eventually got bodied alongside Repulse in 1941. Also, Wales is dutiful and professional, while Eugen is the exact opposite.
