This seems odd. Usually when yukkuris are around, regardless of their size, Akyuu goes AQN and it becomes hammer time. For dosuyukkuris, she busts out the Graf Eisen.
A translation of this series would be helpful, since I'm not familiar with Gantz.

All you need to know is that anyone not wearing a suit or holding a weapon or both is typically considered cannon fodder.
Having not read past this yet (so I'm not sure if it's on purpose), I'm wondering if "sense of touch" (触覚) was supposed to be "feelers/antennae"(触角). Both are pronounced "shokkaku".
