My guess is that Asuka's talking about how Shinji ignored her after Unit 01 tore her Eva to pieces after the dummy plug system was activated but then he later rescued Rei from the angel that absorbed her. Shinji's last comment is him wishing this Asuka would behave more like Asuka Shikinami from the Eva 2.0 movie.
