Honestly i agree Blue Archive (as well Last Origin been blatantly obvious) characters looks more well fitted and atractive for this kind of works than Umamusu.

I would agree with Last Origin being good R18 material, but Bluaka characters are all high-schoolers. That doesn't stop the internet either way.
The threat was serious enough that when the news dropped, literally every R18 Umamusume pic on Pixiv vanished from the site, last I checked.
Nah, they're still there. Some probably folded, but there's still 760 R18 posts as of right now. Umamusume fans are crusading against them though, last I heard.

Well it's probably bacause there are still many horses that Cygames are asking for permission to use ingame and keeping the icon of umamusume PG friendly makes contracts between the game company and the owners or irl horses much more smoother. idk

And unlike other anthropomorphic waifu games, some of the horse and its owners are still alive, and they treat their horses as if their own children. So, despite being a horse, would they want to see their daughter/genderbent-son lewded for public to see?

Wasn't part of the problem that he said something like, "You can use them freely" which prompted responses about going crazy with all the girls and making hentai games, to which he responded that they still needed to respect the wishes of the other owners and follow the official guidelines, he was just saying that he didn't mind too much. Which then caused all the trolls to go wild attacking him for being dishonest and backpedaling.
Poor guy offered so much leeway and people ruined it.
