Desperately needs a color to contrast against the sheer cherry color, I think. Sprinkling some of that brown in a few places would've done a lot of good, but aside from that, I kinda like this redesign.

while the show may try to look like an isekai without being an isekai (aka, a pure fantasy land, not reincarnate a hero or bring someone through a wormhole to that world a la Owl House/Urban Legend in Limbo/Legends Arecus), the redesign feels more into the Mahou SHoujo genre than a pure-fantasy themed genre...
