Sorry to disappoint you but I have no fond childhood memories growing up on "the good old Konami" shit. My only console prior to 2008 was a Soviet knockoff NES.
So, I like the Castlevania anime for being real fucking stellar peak animation on its own merits, not for any misplaced nostalgia.
