3 votes for Berno Light? Oh well, I'll manually change the tag and wiki in... say, 3 days, if nobody counterobjects.
Sorry, I don't read the English fan translation, so I'm not really aware of fan-preferred names unless they are prominent enough to pop up in discussions or wikis when I do a casual search on Google.
Would appreciate it if you guys could also go over the other Cinderella Gray characters who have original names (i.e. not named directly after a real-life horse). Like Blacky/Blackie Ale, Minnie the Lady and Rudy Lemono.
(Toni Bianca is official though. The real-life horse is named "Tony...", but they changed it into the Italian spelling when they made her Italian through-and-through. Original horse was more or less an Irish 'immigrant' to Italy.)
Also, do we want to force _(Umamusume) qualifiers even for the umas with unique original names that don't require disambiguation? Strictly speaking it isn't necessary, but it does help maintain consistency. IIRC evazion prefers this approach.

I'm hearing it elsewhere and even someone who translates the manga refers her that.
Sincerely, there is a kind of worm parasite called "Berne" at least in my language, so I can't avoid some sort of weird mental correlation when reading Berno. My brain is weird like that. XD

If you have any preferences, or want to make your opinion heard on any of the names, please say so. (In particular whether we should go WITH qualifiers for all the manga umas even for unique names, or reserve them only for ambiguous ones)
