These are some fucked up looking manta rays.

When I visited the aquarium, I found them to be very friendly and playful. They liked to be petted, but they also liked to "fake" you out, approaching and dodging your hand when you reached in. I even scared one by mistake, but he forgave me.

You scared them by moving your hand toward them...

What happened was I slapped the water a couple times and he recoiled. Took about a minute before he approached me again. They feel kind of rubbery.
