And if you're planning on actually participating in the class, it's probably best not to put up a placard at all. I'm also starting to think Clumsy is just generally inattentive and/or oblivious.

A placard like that would probably be useful for Sumi when she takes a nap in class... or for anyone in keine's classroom too...

It only took a little over 400 pages for us to figure this out!

By the way, some teachers pretty much tend to ask those students who DON'T seem like they know the lesson. I remember people in my class bluffing as if they wanted to be called, and the teacher would ask somebody else. I also remember that the teacher occasionally called their bluff and they were in trouble. So it's like poker, you need to think one step ahead of the opponent/teacher.
