In my case, I only bought the Battle Pass, nothing else. I must admit I was really tempted to buy the cheapest pack before the reset but I did not in the end.
I had a guaranteed drop as I lost to the 50/50 pity on Klee's rerun banner and saved everything until Raiden Shogun's banner. Took me only two multis to get her, was around 40 or 50 pulls before having the guaranteed pity.
Though her weapon banner on the other hand... Got twice The Unforged (5-stars claymore). Now my Epitomized Path has been set for the Engulfing Lightning (5-stars polearm) but I really hope I can gain enough primos to summon again until the deadline. It's really a shame that this system doesn't get carried onto the next banner...

I purchased the packs, I will never have to pull for more Raiden's constellations in future reruns, and I did it in half the average needed wishes for whales. Also got her weapon, twice in the same roll. I did it because I really like Raiden. And I hope to never do it again (famous last words). Just waiting for Albedo (skipped because back then Geo was subpar as elements) and Kazuha (lost the 50/50 to Mona).
