I'm starting to really like this new character, she's a really sweet take on the trope of the tired and anemic-looking girl that you often see in japanese media (such as Kobeni), where the archetype is shown to be a dead-end resulting from a social collapse, and real life pressuring you beyond your breaking point; it's something you want to avoid becoming, and she's slowly learning to appreciate life once again, and get out of this horrible mind-set she had to grow up with and get accustomed to.

I'm glad she has friends now.
Is there a formal title for this character archetype? Might it be found somewhere on TV Tropes?
