Unforged has one of the coolest designs, but for the life of me, I can't figure out who I would even use it on if I did get it. I originally wanted it for Xinyan, but honestly, if I wanted more damage I could just use the Broken Pines.
I can't understand why anyone likes serpent spine. that whole "powers down if you get take damage and also makes you take more damage" part is an utter dealbreaker in my eyes, particularly for someone like noelle whom is quite likely to get bapped occasionally, and should be able to laugh it off. whiteblind is her best friend right now... but really, The Unforged is the same as the rest of it's series; perfectly serviceable for anyone who uses that weapon type as long as you have zhongli around to ensure that shield is forever. The Unforged, Vortex Vanquisher, Memory of Dust, Summit Shaper... they're all simple "beating on things means beating on them harder" weapons that shine most with shielding. I'm not sure why this is apparently rocket science, but then... >people using, for any reason, things that make them take more damage when murphy's law kicks in

Serpent Spine embodies the 'high risk, high reward' playstyle, and the debuff is pretty much ignorable if you have a decently built shield characters, not to mention the stacks will remain even if you switch out. Unforged on the other hand, loses the boost when you switch out and unless you're using Beidou/Noelle/Xinyan, which can apply shields to theirself, will pretty much lose out to a 4* craftable Claymores.
But Serpent Spine will be kicked out of meta ladder sooner or later when they introduce enemies that can damage you through shields anyway.
MHY pretty much gonna powercreep the Archons anyway. They already introduced a new region with non CC-able enemies, which pretty much makes Venti useless...but Kazuha somehow still able to suck them. They introduce a new boss that can damage you by environment damage which ignores shields. It's already clear that they're planning to take the next step and make enemies that can bypass shields.

There's making a game challenging and then there's making it annoying to play.
It's starting to head in the wrong direction if you're going out of your way to make the players life hell.

they actually nerfed the ronnin mobs so venti can pick them up again. it wasn't really an issue but these drops are just AR20 level of trash. I ended getting the sword anyway since i always have a shield generator (C2 zhongli, C6 dionna)
