    Shtora

    Miley's Tank Story.

    Miley = AK-12's Korean fan nickname. Comes from typing "A" + "K" on the Korean keyboard yielding Ma (마), and then "1" pronounced il and "2" as (r)i. This yields Mailri/Miley.

    The other AKs also have similar nicknames.

    Shtora ("Curtain") refers to the Shtora-1 infrared jammers forming the 'eyes' of the T-90 in the comic above.

    It's a russian T-90 not an Abrams.

    Apparently AK-12's eyes are supposed to be a reference to the "IR dazzlers" or those "red eyes" on the T-90. They are basically meant to mess with laser guided missiles by blasting infrared light in their general direction wich makes them kind of freak out when they fly towards it (hence she's pointing a laser at it).
    Edit: turns out the IR dazzlers are about as usefull as anything else in the russian military
