I wonder why the first two panels are empty?

What was the artist thinking?

I'd say that Komachi was mentally befuddled enough that her mind was effectively empty of anything coherent, so this was depicted by ... well, empty panels.

Wait, in panel 13, is that Reimu next to Yukari and Komachi, holding that child? Does this mean Reimu actually got children and was married? Guess that miko in the first comic was her actual granddaughter afterall, and not an adopted successor.

Also, I got to say this my favorite Reimu ever depicted in a doujin. Fanon makes her look way too much like a heartless brat, almost unrealistically so. This is one of the few Reimu's I've seen that actually resembles the kind girl featured in the games. Reimu might have made some mistakes in the games, but most of them originated from misunderstandings or hardships. She's a kind enough girl that all the animals love her and protect her, and she's best of friends with all youkai and gods. Someone like that can't be a bitch, no matter how much you nitpick at slight mistakes.

But nevertheless, this story is very, very good. The right amount of emotions to really touch the reader.

Without a doubt I second this. Never I've seen a kind Reimu like this... and this is so herself... her true kind character. *sighs*

Good thing I'm not the only one who thinks that way.. Glad Danbooru still has some users who hasn't been completely brainwashed by Fanon..

She probably got promoted into a full goddess or deity and attained biological immortality or something.

And yeah, I kinda teared up at Komachi's confession.
