Is it me or is Link trying to get "cozy" with Peach?

love this pic, with a few exceptions it contains every franchise that made nintendo what it is today

Lucas and ganondorf looks sweet and samus and wolf look cute

The only character missing would be Dr. Mario if I'm not mistaken (although it could be considered like a REAL CLONE of Mario) -.-

This is what I have concluded:
I think this image simply doesn't include anybody who is the same character. Samus and Zero Suit Samus, same character, different outfit. Link and Young Link, same person (in ocarina of time), but different age. Toon Link is still there because he is a completely different person from a different period of time with the same name. Mario and Dr. Mario, same person, different outfit/job.

Is Zelda watching Toon Link or is she into Ike?
