  • A patron was kind enough to gift me a "draw what you want" ticket, so I'm working on my comic ideas backlog file.

I strongly believe the Zombie Apocalypse setting has been bled dry (both for story and gameplay, in the case of games) and creators need to take a break from it.

I do believe that in terms of gameplay there are things that havent been done with zombies, having said that zombies shouldnt be the main focus of a post-apocalyptic game anymore.

I kinda have to agree with the anti-zombie group here- unless you need some really complex work done, Excel isn't that hard to learn, and they really should encourage everyone to learn the basics instead of relying on the zombie to do all the work.

And the same goes for cooking. It's not all that hard, though it can be time consuming, but that's only if everyone's cooking their own dishes. Have some agreement on communal meals, and everyone can pitch in on the process.

That way, everyone pulls their weight and Meathole-Chan can be given admin training!

    FINALLY! YES PLEASE!

I had a somewhat ardent hatred towards zombie. what make humans interesting is their choice, behavior, motivation, etc. and yet this zombie thingy reduce humans to nothing more than a meat drone that could only say vowel and goes in a straight line towards food!

    ENOUGH WITH THE ZOMBIE ALREADY!

And all that isn't enough to earn her a name besides Meathole-chan?

Why are you assuming that’s her nickname and not that her actual name is is Tabitha Meathole-Chan?

I've noticed there's been an endless stream of shallow, nihilistic, pessimistic, dystopian works in literature, films, games and shows. It's become nauseating to me. Forgive my bluntness, but the creators of these dystopian works do not know what the central social problems are, why things are the way they are, or how to solve them. How can great art come from that? I can be mildly entertained by this stuff, but even people in the entertainment industry must be sick and tired of dystopian themes at this point.

Zombies, cyborgs, robots and aliens are picked too frequently because with today's graphics mutilating living bodies from humans and animals would be frowned. What better excuse to decapitate an enemy than "it was already dead". There's a reason we don't have AAA games about school shootings.

oh boo hoo, entertainment isn't fun anymore.
There's been millions of solutions and proposals and plenty of warning for decades for society's woes, but no one is implementing any of it. It's not an entertainment director's job to suddenly fix the world after everyone with the capacity to preserve it drove it headfirst into the ground. Entertainment just follows societal trend. Blame society for being garbage for years that audience and creators alike can only associate reality with garbage.
