The Japanese don't mess around with the DUI stuff; in Japan the maximum allowable BAC is 0.03%. At least in Okinawa, there is a taxi service where they carry an extra driver in the taxi so they can drive the intoxicated person and their vehicle back to their home. Apparently this has kept countless US military personnel (and other US people under the Status of Forces Agreement such as dependents) on the island out of trouble. I guess they don't have that sort of thing around Ooarai.

Chiyo didn't bring Mika on the trip? Kind of sad.
