it's kinda interesting that from this dialogue (and from the 3rd and 18-19th pages of the comic) that this despiction of Renko is into more the occult than the science and psychis than the canon one... (she's into the occult more than her ancestor Sumi).. but i guess that's what many authors do regardings to any characters they could see to be despicted in any story, even if some of their personality traits could be changed to fit in.
