    Mecha Musume is the 'super-trope' of Striker Unit. Mecha Musume covers every pic with some mecha element attached to any bodypart of a girl (which is not necessarily a human girl, even), while Striker Unit specifically refer to certain units attached to the leg of a girl. If it has a Striker Unit, it belongs to the Mecha Musume category, but not always vice versa.
