    I don't believe this is actually Rei. The hairstyle and uniform are different enough that it's probably (one of) Mogudan's versions of a 'Not-Rei' that he's been working on to get around the whole "no Evangelion/Ayanami Rei hentai" thing.

    I mean, yes, it wouldn't fool anyone as to what the appearance is based, but it's still technically not her.

    Yeah it should hopefully be different enough to pass for doujinshi. Sad he has to go to such circumstances, but when you've drawn Rei long enough, and have a Strong, Loyal Fan base, its not easy to shake away that lovely blue haired angel!
