One can say something similar for a decent bulk of the Kancolle USN ships. Mysteriously* scared despite them giving the IJN ships far bloodier noses in most case.

We're lucky if KanColle even mentions that an American ship damaged a Japanese ship. How many times do they acknowledge that Johnston blew off Kumano's bow? How often is Hornet connected to the Midway Quartet vs. the number of times she's drawn with Shokaku? Washington vs. Ayanami? Helena vs. the numerous ships she sent to the docks or to the depths? Saratoga crippling five heavy cruisers in one air raid? And they seem to have a preference for American ships that were sunk. If KanColle was your only source of information on WWII, you'd probably think Japan won.
