- Taken from a thread at gurochan about the maids. I've never seen that mentioned anywhere else, but at the same time it's also the only explanation I've ever read for her. Seems reasonable enough.

Everything is correct except that the original "owl with evil eyes" inspiration 邪眼は月輪に飛ぶ was not a doujin, but a weekly serial that was later published as tankoubon.
