ますおの話
招待状もらった時さ、びっくりして思わずこっちから電話しちゃったんだよな。こ、これ、嬉しいし光栄だけど本当に俺たちでいいのか？って…みなみも同じで電話したらしいw後ほど二人で改めてお願いしようと思ってたのに！って言われちゃったよ。いやでも、あんなに優しい子たちの友達たくさんいるだろうのに、こんなに歳の離れた俺たちでいいのかって、何度も聞いちゃったんだよな、、それでも二人は「私たち、ずっとますおさんとみなみさんのお友達じゃないですか。そんなこと言わないでくださいよ、私たちにとって二人は、一生大事なお友達なんですから」って言われて………もうダメだったよね……二人の前で泣くことなんて何度もあったけど(レース応援してる時とか)すごくみっともない泣きかたしちゃってさ、恥ずかしかったんだよな、、どんだけ涙腺弱いんだ俺たち笑笑

And then I was a giant geyser of tears too. It was really rough....... but then again, I was crying through the whole thing (what brought this on?)

Masuo's Story
When I got the invitation, I was so surprised I actually called them up. I was like, are you sure? We'd love to, but it's such a huge honor... and apparently Minami called them too, haha. "We were planning to ask you again together!", they told us. But really, they're such sweet girls, and they must have so many good friends. I had to wonder if they were okay with old guys like us giving the speech. We asked them if they were sure so many times. But they said "You and Minami-san have been our friends forever. Please don't say things like that. As far as we're concerned, you're our greatest friends." ...And that's when I broke down, yeah. I mean, we've cried in front of them so many times (cheering at races and stuff), but this was some real ugly crying. I was really embarrassed... we were both huge messes, haha.
