I felt this comment on my poor control skill. Can't even manage the quickturn using the shoulder booster, even less doing the aerial missile dodge they'd shown on the opening...

Looking at Twitter comments for this post, people are now joke-speculahing that this is a prequel to Combat Assistive AI 'GAL', with the lady pilot here becoming the template for the GAL AI.

I remember trying out Virtual On with a friend at an arcade. Couldn't get past the first stage, while he managed up to the third on a single token. He said "At this rate I'll become a grunt pilot!", to which I replied "At this rate, I'll be Eita!", referring to Eita Nadaka, the male bridge operator from SRW OG. LOL
