But what about the secret character, Reimu? Most don't like her because she plays like Reimu, but with practice she can play like Reimu.

If you have the time to waste getting good at Reimu, then it'd be better spent getting good at Reimu instead. Once you're good with Reimu, you can at least use what you pick up to also be good with Reimu.
