Is it just me? Or is the "translation request" tag just getting thrown around a lot more willy-nilly these days?

It's goin' on things that are just sound effects, things that have single letters, and now this one that doesn't have nothin'!

The tag was for the slippers, which are still not translated.

Usually I leave out the translated tag for something like this... this is still generally-accepted practice, right?

Of course, nothing wrong with translation_request for single SFX/background text either (before translation). In fact IMHO they should be used that way when there's something that one feels need to be translated, however minor.
