Of all the things to come out of Arai's Apartment, a NEET monstrosity was not something I was expecting.

Perhaps making it a NEET was an intentional effort as a means of reducing its threat level.

Big dude seems very Darkwood-y. Maybe the sight of a huge monstrosity taking up 80% of the room is what does it.

I guess even monsters got tired of being one and decided to become a NEET.

I thought NEET is the default job for most eldritch monstrosities and seal-away Evil-Dark-Lord-inna-Can™. Or even some unsealed ones (WARNING! TV Tropes link!).

Most of the time Raccoon seems to escape the eldritch horrors through a certain amount of obliviousness (the wall monster that only attacks when you notice it, with the distraction maze countermeasure comes to mind). Here she seems to be, "Yep that's totally a monster, not going to bother him", which seems almost out of character.

Can anyone make out the red lettering on the floor in front of the elevator? The first could be "Danger," and the second seems to start "Me-"

    It's written "Danger Monster".

Part of the letters was erased by the scratch marks.

    "Do not disturb the NEET."

Monster NEET diary: I didn't start out this way, but this...place, has a way of bringing out the best and worst traits of people, and amplifying them. For those who survive, most of them become monsters, like me, though some become what most would consider benevolent. That girl just now may be an odd sort of exception. Perhaps best described as true neutral, but if that were the case, her unassuming attitude would surely bring salvation and disaster in equal measure to those she encounters. However, any influence she has, infrequent it may be, usually presents a boon.

An endearing imbecile that never brings harm to others. Even one instance of injury to someone would easily lead to her condemnation. Perhaps, rather than being special in of herself, there's a guiding hand that protects this fool from potential scorn. A guardian angel of sorts.

No, she thinks that it's a giant pile of trash and decided to leave, once again it's her ignorance and lack of curiosity that saved her.

There is a difference between a NEET and a prisoner in some eldritch location.

Back to the good ol' classic Arai Mansion formula, huh?
Yknow, what if it used to be a human (or humanoid non-monster) NEET and the apartment turned it into a monster as time passed?

Let's take it further. Could be multiple people fused into one. This might've been an internet cafe
