Excellent picture. All of my top 3 Shoujo anime. The only thing kinda ruining it is Lina's white mouth, but it's hardly noticable together with the remaining amounts of win.

Correct, Slayers was kinda a mixed breed..plenty of Shoujo and Shounen elements. Girls and guys could watch the show without one side feeling ignored/ashamed.

LOL! True...my memory of how good Slayers was or wasn't is shaky at best, I just knew I liked Naga.

I'm not disputing that, I agree that it was a Shounen anime/manga. Even if it was or intended to be, it still got a rather huge female following, Escflowne (sp) had the same effect where it was intended to be for girls but wound up having boys like it too.
Slayers is Shounen with shoujo elements, but not enough for guys to choke on and just enough to keep girls interested. That's what I meant.
