I added Silmaril_(gem) here not really because they are visible but because the are a central part of this scene in the silmarillion.
(or the silmarils are in his iron crown in this image, it is not clear, Morgoth had not made his iron crown with the silmarils at this point, during this scene they are supposed to be in the bag or in his hand)
