Huh... cover page on the left, horizontal text, shape of text bubbles, paneling style... so Senseibot's work is in Western comic book style then. Looks like a graphic novel too. Not manga (by our standards, in Japan any comic is a manga. Or any commercially published comic, for purists). Hmm, this complicates matters. Oh well, I'll figure out how to reword the TLs earlier. Gotta adapt Assistant Girl's 'dialect' a bit anyway.
Interestingly from a meta perspective, the MBU itself also seems heavily influenced by Western comic book styles. Main things IMHO being having a shared universe, a much fast pacing of events, and the 'achronological' arrangement of plot arcs.

All this time fightin', and I was never wounded bad or anythin', not even once. But...
It's jumbled-up and old-fashioned, but why—
somehow it's also dazzlin' and brilliant that I can't even take off my eyes.
now it feels like I'm gettin' "stabbed" for the first time—
Hopes and dreams, camaraderie and adventure, farewells and oh so many other things...
Sequel...
...that's all there is?
...Oi.
For this.
You got any of the other stuff or not?
