So with this one I'm not sure. Phoenix is obviously Mokou, because of the ribbon on neck. The other three are ambiguous. The snake has clouded-moon imprinted on side, so is it Kaguya? What about the other two?

It is indeed based on the East Asian motif of Four Holy Beasts. The equivalent Vietnamese symbols are Dragon, Kirin, Turtle (yep that’s not a snake) and Phoenix.
