Wrong kanji for "sai" or is this a meme-y thing that people do to call back to 10歳/天才 jokes?
It's commonly used as a replacement when talking age simply because it's easier to write. It also has a childlike/cutesy feeling to it since 才 is learned in elementary while 歳 is learned in middle school.
