For context there may be 2 reasons why she is crying. First being a PvP thing where she is always on a team but rarley anybody raises her so she always comes in last place. Second, which i believe is the real reason, each horse girl has certain tasks which they must fulfill to progress in their career. Haru's final task puts her in a race with a huge disadvantage which she ultimately loses regardless of her stats and skills. Haru is a short range dirt runner, the final task puts her in a mid long turf race.

Ain't nothing stopping people to grind so she can win the race (you can actually win the race, but it would need ungodly amount of grinding if you don't want to spend money.)

Only way for that to work is if she gains a turf stat thru inheritance which is highly unlikely. I've seen ppl with SS stats still come in last place. The point is your not really supposed to win the race.

yes it's true to keep true to lore we are not "suppose" to see her win. Heck the story has value with her in last place. However there is a ending that is prepared if there is a trainer with the willpower to grind enough for her to come in first place. I actually like both endings but like the sad ending better because of how much more emotional and valuable it feels. Yes i still wish for the best for all of my horses.
