Pretty much sums up the cycle of Every. Single. New. Characters. In. Gacha. Games.

You get hyped for the new character >> You save up as much Gacha currency as best you can (in this case, Primogems) >> Roll for the new Waifu on the first day of her banner >> Did you get the Waifu? >> If yes, go to Section 2 >> If no, there's no more further steps. Just cry and let out all of your salt and wait for a new Waifu to arrive on a later update

Section 2 - You get your Waifu on the Banner >> You max her out >> you main her >> play her non-stop for a week >> you get used to the playstyle and her looks >> you get bored of her >> you save up more Primogems again and wait for a new up-coming Waifu >> rinse and repeat until the game goes dark and a brand new gacha game gets announced in the future.

I, myself, got Hu Tao on my very first 10-roll on her banner. I admit that I got bored of her now. Then again, I'm the type of person who gets easily bored but that's probably just me. Now, I'm waiting for Eula and I know I'll get bored of her when another Waifu comes out later on. Rinse and repeat, over and over again.

i mean it depend on the person...
like i still loves ganyu and noelle up until now... even eula and other new waifu and husbando got their respective trailer...

This is the one time I'll go with "Meta > Waifu", at least in Genshin.
Seriously, building up just one character takes weeks worth of resin (if you have my kind of luck). New character comes out is weeks or months of grinding into. I really don't understand how people are just eating up all the new DPS characters with Ganyu, Xiao and Hu Tao literally back to back.
If I have Diluc, why do I need Hu Tao?
I happily skipped both Xiao and Hu Tao since I don't need them, and with about 4 decently built DPS characters ready, I think I can skip Eula too.
miHoYo please give us more support characters.
