Looks more freaked out to me. I think she's just now realizing that putting Sanae, her one and only miko and the only way Kanako will get the faith she needs to survive, in a ring with Yuuka was a *really bad idea*.

I think she's just reaching the end of her "war god" patience and approaching the boiling point of "angry mother" fury.

LaserShark may have the right idea, but I don't think Kanako values Sanae more as a priestess than as a surrogate daughter.
