後日事情を知った breaks down further as, [後日] [事情] {を} [知った] which translates piecewise as [later] [situation] {direct object particle} [to learn].
This parses better in English as [learn] {the} [situation] [later]

響子ちゃんに説教された breaks down as [響子ちゃん] {に} [説教された], translated piecewise [Kyouko-chan] {passive agent particle} [lectured].
This parses better as [lectured] {by} [Kyouko-chan]
