Portrait study (1hr 15m) was able to do this in such a short time because I simplified many of the shapes in this portrait and focused on the overall image instead of the tiny details. Learned this from doing environments, you really don't need to go over every small detail and blend every texture in order to make a complete painting. A few brush strokes can say a lot. If you zoom in closely you can see all the brushstrokes I left behind (it's like visual gibberish). This is something I wanna keep practicing because sometimes I still get too caught up in details, do you guys get this problem too?
