Maybe you should just lower your threshold so you won't worry about it so much. It was only one vote.

If your question must be answered, it's probably because Hitomi's incident happened before Hololive's massive popularity surge, before people were really keeping track of information like they are now. Since only the oldest fans even know she existed, and there's hardly any concrete info on her, which you have to go out of your way to find, newer fans aren't likely to ever hear about her or include her in art or discussions.

Aloe's incident happened during the Vtuber Renaissance, so a lot of people experienced it live, and people just haven't ever stopped talking about it. It also helps that Aloe barely did anything wrong(debatably she did nothing wrong at all), while Hitomi, depending on who you're talking to, was at least partially if not entirely at fault for what happened.

Apparently Hitomi's is so controversial that a lot of Vtuber social media boards are really "hush-hush" about the whole thing. You can't talk about it without getting shot down by the mods. Guessing its in order to stop any extra unnecessary damage or something.

She wasn't even given a chance for a graduation - Cover just unpersoned her, removing all official acknowledgement that she ever existed, not wanting to be associated with that kind of sleazy affair.

This was other way, that dude who get her streaming equipment blackmailed her and forced her to "relationship" with him (sex).
She was stiupid, he was criminal.
