I have not played the game and I don't understand what is going on here.

Strongest in the Project Mooniverse is a huge exaggeration. She's an above average Colour Fixer who can use E.G.O to its full potential but there are also things like White Knight and other powerful Distortions and Abnormalities.
We also know that the Claws and Arbiters who managed to kill her are just foot soldiers and The Head has an army of them so I wouldn't be surprised if the higher ranked members of A and C Corp and possibly even The Head himself are significantly more dangerous.

You are downplaying Prime Kali's strength. During the assault on L-corp, Kali alone had to contend with and defeated multiple rank and file claws, as well as many other dangerous abnormalities that Daniel was forced to release. The abnormalities are not stated but it is established abnormalities are more dangerous than distortions or EGO users. By the time she reached the Arbiter (who is said to be able to raze a Wing to the ground ALONE), she's already tired out and basically half-dead. Even after Garion put Kali down, Kali still managed to mortally wound Garion with a suicide attack.
For all intents and purposes, Kali was insanely strong. That was why she's a legend even among fixers. But strength alone is not enough to carry you in this world even if you can turn people into mist by punching them or snap Abnormalities in half on daily basis. Especially when Kali was getting wrathful of her failures.
Geburah on the other hand, is not as strong but have better temper. She is still a super competent fighter. Hell, the only reason Baral and Zena managed to almost defeat Roland, Geburah, and Binah is because the Library had been busy with the Distorted Ensemble for a full week and thus exhausted.
