Worth noting though is that some companies like to place two "accept/save" buttons in the settings window, trying to trick people into accepting all that stuff anyway with misleading wording and/or the good 'ol "leave the good option as a tiny hyperlink next to the bigass screen-covering button" strategy. That and the "lolol third-party trackers" stuff.

So make sure to stay vigilant if this kind of information gathering rubs you the wrong way.
