So, translator question. The Chinese used in this little comic strip is proper Chinese with no bells and whistles that any language teacher would approve of, but in the official English translation of the game Bagpipe speaks with some kind of rural accent. Do I follow the game's translation or do I translate what I see right in front of me? I chose the latter since I felt that would fit both the character and the situation better, but I'm a bit unsure. (Also, this quickly turned into another problem, since I have no clue on how to do a convincing rural accent in my mother tongue, never mind in English, lol. Feel free to change my translations to make them fit better.)
Them clothes are already too old, they're hot an' stuffy, ...There's no way you can do farm work with those. So go change real quick and come help out.... an' seein' them always brings up bad memories from back then.
