What is it with people calling out Ami? Did you watch ANYTHING past episode 7? She has as much depth as the rest of the cast.

Agreed I loved Ami! She played a bigger role than I'm sure most people thought she would lol.

Ami chan didn't deserv thet treatment given to her... damn, it's just sad.

Apparently they even skimped out on her compared to her role in the actual novel =[

Wasn't the point that she WASN'T mature at all? Or at least as much as she was made out to be? I've been reading the novels and it seems more like she plays a bigger, more expanded role in them, but in both it seems fairly obvious that she is rather childish.

The point was that she didn't want to be called mature by all of her friends, and was taken back by Ryuuji's comment that she was rather childish. It was inevitable, though, that given Minori and Taiga's involvement in this little love triangle that Ami had very few options but be the mature, kind friend and guide them through their struggles to communicate their obfuscated feelings to each other properly rather than childishly. In very many ways, she succeeded in that role, and in a sad way, understood and readily yielded to the fact that it wasn't her place to get emotionally involved in that triangular clusterfuck.

Granted, Ami did have a little fun with the situation, but ultimately, she meant well.
