She's injured, crippled even, but not killed. I don't know if the wisdom cube shown a couple pages before implies that she'll be permanently mothballed, but given how patiently and tranquilly Zuizui is waiting, I think there will be a recovery arc.
Given that this story appeared to be released two years, but only now uploaded by the artist on pixiv, it is possible that there is a sequel.
