You be surprised at the hardcore amount of education and effort that is needed to go into culinary works. Afterall, baking is not just art it’s also science. The need to learn the ins and outs of ingredients and other means of good taste is more than an idiot throwing stuff into a bow and mixing it all up. A piece of bread might just be a piece of bread to you but it is also an expression of human society as a whole; the tireless exchange of development spawning across over hundreds of thousands of years of research, cooperation and hardwork just so that I would eventually cut off the crust and eat half before tossing it into the trash cause I dislike mustard on my sandwich.
