The series was pretty eccentric, but I found it to be a rather fun watch. Have to say I was always rather curious what events came after what was shown in the anime. No idea if the LNs followed the same ordering as the anime, but that was certainly curious to pretty much tell the stories in reverse order chronological. The anime ended on what was the beginning of the story.
