It is worth to note that this is part of a set of images being currently pushed through the Ooi.moe proxy in order to replace Acea's in-game art, which appears to be more politically motivated than being a parody or a critic of the original art.
It is technically properly tagged, but should not be confused with the in-game art.

Incredible how THAT'S the thing they find objectionable about KanColle, and not that they're glorifying warships from the nation that kidnapped and forced thousands of Chinese women to work as personal prostitutes 75 years ago.
Just... wow. These people really are brainwashed, are they?

It must be sad to hold grudges even against people you did not met in your lifetime.

The CCP is wary of throwing bricks while living in a glass house. If you want to consider who's done the worst to the Chinese people in the entire history of China, there's only one answer.
Whoever did this thing and the other ones probably should have re-designed everything from scratch instead of taking pointers straight from the original designs.

I still don't understand why they feel the need to do this bullshit with the likes of Kancolle. Don't the chinese have about 50 other versions of their own ripoff WW2 warship waifu games that they could fuck off to if they feel so badly butthurt? Not to mention aren't these the same people who bitched and whined about Kancolle being some Japanese revision of history(lol) or some bullshit like that?
I thought Azur Lane was suppose to be their magnum opus that is somehow "killing" Kancolle and was where they could go live out their fantasy of still playing Kancolle while continuing to hate the Japanese.
I understand if they don't like Acea's artwork and is complaining because of his style but doing it because of his personal life and information is just pathetic, especially if its something as shallow as that. I seriously hope this is only a mod for the crybabies and not actually a way for them to protest or ask the Devs to make changes because, lol, that will be the stupidest thing they could possibly hope to do and would be easier for them to just make their own god damn game.
Although, artwise, it is not too bad as fanworks go. The colors look cleaner and lines aren't so dark and she look less..."chunky". The Helena looks strange though. I feel there is a lack of shading in the metals and colors, making the pictures look a bit flat. Not like in the normal one where Acea's artwork look much rounder and popping out. I'm wondering if the artist himself know or what to be associated with all of this nonsense. And if his work is to be taken and used in such ways, I hope he would ask that he be compensated for it. At least maybe even hope his work was drawn through a patreon or something.
In game art never bothers me as much. I know most modern gacha games are just waifu, the JPG collection, but before them there is touhou, which basically built its community on fan adaption. Nobody should tell Zun to fix the in game artwork and nobody should treat in game art as the end all be all. This should also apply to Kancolle, which has one of the most stylized rosters of artists.

I have different views, though complicated。 In fact, A10 is not a conservative in Taiwan。He used politics as an excuse for his poor painting skills。In fact, before that, he had several contacts with Chinese producers of copy kancolle games with his friends, even those who were particularly hostile to kancolle。

Friendly reminder that Mao and his communist forces spent way more time harassing the KMT and stockpiling material than they did actually fighting the invading Japanese. The Sino-Japanese war served as a very convenient time out for the communist forces, while KMT troops took a lot of casualties and lost a lot of resources.
